Following up on the email sent to all users earlier in June, asking whether anyone was still using Windows 2000, it turns out that at most 2 or 3 users (out of over 5,000!) are still using it. So, that doesn’t seem a sufficient number to hold off on dropping support for it.
I have prepared a beta test (pre-test) version of all versions of the installation program (full installers for the normal, lite and network versions, plus update installers), using the new version of the installation builder program that no longer supports Windows 2000.
If some of you could give one or more of them a quick try (from www.software4nonprofits.com/pretest.htm) that would be great. There are no changes from the current official release (version 3.50) other than the new installation builder being used.
Please let me know if you encounter any issues. Thanks!
